AJAPO is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that strives to welcome and empower refugees and immigrants from Africa and the Afro-Caribbean Islands settling in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County with a healthy resettlement start by nurturing them for civic responsibilities, economic self-sufficiency, leadership, education, and by connecting them to American communities of their heritage.
